All adults living in the household must agree to bringing a puppy into the family. If you are purchasing a puppy as a gift for another adult in your household, please contact us after submitting your application. While a puppy can certainly be a wonderful surprise, we want to make sure the person receiving the puppy genuinely wants the responsibility of caring for a dog.

Our goal is for every Windsong puppy to remain a beloved member of its family for life.

All Windsong pet puppies must be spayed or neutered by a licensed veterinarian before 12 months of age, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Windsong Doodles. Proof of the procedure must be provided and must include verification of the dog's identity, such as the microchip number, description, and breed. Failure to spay or neuter the puppy by 12 months of age will result in the 2-year health guarantee becoming void.

If you have questions or concerns about the timing of spaying or neutering your puppy, please contact us before paying your non-refundable application fee so we can discuss your situation.

All pet puppies are sold under a strict NON-BREEDING contract.

Windsong pet puppies may not be used for breeding. If a Windsong Doodle that has not been authorized for breeding is bred, a $30,000 breeding fee will be owed to Windsong Doodles immediately. Windsong Doodles also reserves the right to reclaim the dog without notice.

If necessary, legal action may be taken to enforce this agreement and recover damages. Any legal fees associated with enforcement will be the responsibility of the buyer.

A puppy or a position on a Windsong reservation list is considered reserved only after the $500 reservation fee has been paid. The remaining balance is due when you take your puppy home. Please note that the application process and reservation process are separate. Completing an application does not, by itself, reserve a puppy or a place on a litter reservation list.

Windsong Doodles does not ship puppies via cargo.

If you live outside the local area, you are welcome to personally pick up your puppy and fly home with your puppy in the main airplane cabin, subject to the airline's current pet policies. We also work with a Puppy Nanny who can personally transport your puppy to you for an additional fee. In many cases, this can be less expensive than other transportation options. We are happy to coordinate pickup with you or your Puppy Nanny at SBA or LAX, so you don't necessarily need to rent a car.

Hand delivery throughout California and surrounding states may also be available on a case-by-case basis for an additional fee.

While we do our best to predict a puppy's adult appearance based on genetics, experience, and the puppy's parents, we cannot guarantee an adult dog's coat color, shedding level, or hypoallergenic qualities. Goldendoodle coats can change considerably as puppies mature. Colors may lighten with age, and coat texture and shedding can vary from puppy to puppy. We are happy to help you choose a puppy based on your preferences and our experience, but specific coat characteristics cannot be guaranteed.

No dog can be guaranteed to be completely hypoallergenic.

Buyers agree to provide their Windsong Doodle with appropriate care throughout the dog's lifetime.

Appropriate care includes, but is not limited to:

• Regular veterinary examinations and preventative care

• Feeding a high-quality, age-appropriate diet

• Maintaining a healthy weight

• Providing daily exercise and mental stimulation

• Keeping the dog safely housed indoors as a family pet

• Regular grooming and coat maintenance

• Providing basic obedience training and ongoing socialization

• Providing a safe, loving, and appropriate home environment

A Windsong Doodle may not be purchased for resale and may never be sold or transferred to a pet shop, puppy mill, broker, or research facility. If circumstances change and you are no longer able to keep your Windsong Doodle, Windsong Doodles must be contacted first and we will always take our dogs back.

We offer a lifetime rehoming policy and will work with you to determine the safest and most appropriate solution for the dog. This may include taking the dog back or assisting with finding and screening a suitable new family. Our goal is simple: we never want one of our dogs to end up in a shelter, rescue, or being passed from home to home.

Windsong Doodles reserves the right to decline the sale or placement of a puppy with any applicant at any time before the puppy is placed in its new home.

Our priority is making sure each puppy is placed in a safe, appropriate, and loving home.

Windsong Doodles reserves the right to retain the first pick of any litter for breeding, therapy, service work, or other purposes determined to be in the best interest of the Windsong breeding program.

Completing an application is the first step in the Windsong Doodles puppy process. There are no "right" or "wrong" answers on our application. Your answers simply help us learn more about your household, lifestyle, experience, and what you're hoping for in a puppy.

We will do our best to accommodate preferences such as:

• Gender

• Color

• Size

• Coat type

• Personality and temperament

However, specific characteristics cannot be guaranteed, particularly as puppies mature and their adult traits become more apparent.

Our goal is to help match each family with the puppy whose temperament and needs are the best overall fit.

If you are already on a Windsong reservation list and decide that the litter you've selected is no longer the right fit, we can transfer your reservation to the next available litter of your choice, subject to availability.

We want you to feel confident and comfortable with your decision—not rushed into choosing a puppy that isn't the right match for your family.

These terms are designed to protect our puppies and dogs while making sure every Windsong Doodle has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, loving, permanent home.
