Windsong’s Head Start Program starts puppies of on the right foot! They receive 24/7 care in a structured home environment with professional trainers for many additional weeks beyond the typical go-home age. During this time, they are guided through real-life routines, foundational training, and thoughtful socialization that most puppies do not receive so early.

These puppies have already begun learning how to settle, regulate excitement, rest calmly, and move through daily life with confidence and clarity. They enter their new homes with early foundations in place, making the transition smoother, calmer, and far less overwhelming for families.

Because we keep puppies longer, we gain a deeper understanding of who they truly are as individuals. Temperament, energy level, and ideal home fit are clearer, allowing for a more intentional and aligned match.

Meet Molly: A 6-month-old multigen Goldendoodle with a rich, curly deep red coat, striking amber eyes, and a truly gentle & affectionate nature.

Molly has been raised in a structured, loving home environment and lives full time with a professional trainer. She is fully crate trained and sleeps peacefully through the night from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. She is also comfortable with daytime crate naps lasting two to three hours. When supervised, she enjoys having access to the home and settles beautifully. Crating is simply part of her age-appropriate routine and helps support consistency as she continues to mature.

She is reliably house trained and has been accident-free in the home for several months. Molly follows a consistent potty schedule, uses a dog door appropriately when available, and will also wait calmly to be taken outside. As with any young dog, maintaining structure during the transition to a new home is important, and Molly is expected to adjust smoothly with consistency. Ongoing breeder and trainer support will be provided during this period.

In the home, Molly is calm, thoughtful, and emotionally steady. She settles easily, is not mouthy or mischievous, and moves through daily routines with ease. Jumping is minimal and typically limited to moments of high excitement, and she understands the “off” cue and continues to refine her manners. On leash, Molly prefers relaxed, peaceful walks and enjoys being present with her person rather than engaging in high-intensity activity.

Molly does best with calm, respectful introductions to other dogs. She enjoys observing first and forms the strongest connections with dogs she knows well. She is wonderful with children and would be especially well suited for families who value gentle interaction and quiet connection. Molly is deeply people-oriented and happiest when she is near her humans, content to stay close and connected throughout the day.

Because of her attentiveness, emotional steadiness, and natural desire to remain close to her person, Molly would also be a lovely prospect for someone seeking a service or support companion who thrives on partnership and consistency.
